Puerh tea is the longer it is stored the more pronounced its taste and range of complex flavours becomes. If you want to experience an aged tea without having to put your own puerh tea in storage for decades, WellTea can supply Wild Puerh Tea that’s been aging since the 1990s.
First cultivated on the tea plantations in Menghai in the region of Yunnan, China, 1990s Wild Puerh Tea was produced within a Chinese state factory two decades ago. Rather than distributed, the tea was then stored in Kunming and has now been made available for export to WellTea customers worldwide.
Despite its long time in storage, 1990s Wild Puerh Tea doesn’t contain any bitterness. Instead it has developed a deeply complex taste along with a strong and high aroma.
Supplied loose, 1990s Wild Puerh Tea can be brewed up to seven times and will create a bright red colour in every cup for you to enjoy and ponder on how the world has changed since the tea leaves were first cultivated two decades ago..
